Can you tell me about the Psychology major? I want to apply to Purchase as a Psychology major, and I've heard good things about the programs. I've visited the college and everything already. I want to be able to feel confident getting a job after college with my major, anything you could tell me would be helpful! Thanks!

This is my favorite question! The Psychology department here at Purchase focuses on practical experience as opposed to only theoretical; students participate and run experiments throughout their undergrad. This hands-on approach gives psychology majors the competitive edge when applying for graduate programs and jobs after they graduate from Purchase. Most undergrad psychology programs don’t have their students perform research, so we definitely have an advantage. If you have any additional questions, feel free to ask!
